Hyper Blaster is a vertically scrolling shoot-em-up game which has decent graphics and effects but is let down by boring gameplay. The object is to make it to the end of the level and defeat a boss. Throughout the level, your ship fires automatically and constantly, and since there are no powerups to collect or score to accumulate, there's no real point in killing any enemies. The boss of the first level shoots at you, and a single hit will end the game. Not a great game overall, especially with no sound at all, but the engine behind it seems to have promise, with "parallax" scrolling.
